Adobe Premiere Pro CC Part 2
Adobe Premiere Pro CC Part 2
Hi everybody welcome back.
my folders and my blogs before I even go into Adobe Premiere Pro before I even start editing or importing
anything.
I have a certain mindset around keeping myself really really organized and I'll show you how I do it.
So I've got here I've got here a bunch of folders which represent projects that I've done throughout
the year 2018.
So I've got here you know my Indonesia adventure series season one season two so we'll go into that
and I'll show you exactly what I've done.
So what I do is I create folders like this and this is before I even do any editing before what I take.
I get my go pro my drawing my smartphone even and I download all my footage into folders which represent
my day to day of my travel.
So what I do is you know see here I've got here 19th of my 20th 20th 20th 21st.
So on each day sometimes I do multiple activities in the same day so I label the folder you know the
same date and I then go into for example 23rd of my 20:18 was the first day and corpulent.
So you double click on this and it loads up all of the videos taken from my my go pro of my first day
on Korea island and pretty pretty basic I've got some foreign assets.
I've taken some footage from my smartphone so I put that into a separate folder.
Right.
And then I go back out and I go 23rd of my 24 hour journey to a remote island.
So this is another look.
So again I go on my go pro footage.
And then what I do is I keep doing that for every single day.
So I put I on get this is how I organize my my go pro footage so that I don't mix up my go pro footage
from one day to the next.
And then with my drying footage I have that in a separate folder and I've got that in sub folders for
different locations so I've got all of that.
And and so that I just double click on this and get our missiles or the Droid footage taken at Obregon
Island.
This is all the drone footage taken about Ireland.
This is pretty much it.
And if I go to another project I'll show you for example Kilimanjaro journey of Lokes 2017.
No no we'll go to Brad and you Road Trip advantage of Laux.
This is the latest one.
Now this is only half of it.
I was still working on the other half.
It's on my hard drive at the moment my day drive.
So the first 17 days.
Day one.
Day to Day turkey and it's date stamped and then just a brief outline of what I did on that day to day
1 30th of August 2018.
Technically you would put the year first then the month and the day.
It's a problem I'm doing.
But this is the way I like doing that.
So this is how I do it.
You can do it anywhere you want and for example the day to go into this one and I've got here a go pro
as a fault subfolder on my go pro footage and then I've got all my images go into another folder.
And then my Instagram stories because sometimes I use Instagram stories and my folks go into a separate
folder and then all the rest of these videos were taken on my primary camera.
And then I get back out and that's pretty much what I do.
That's pretty much what I do.
And then all I do is and this is so so easy.
And in the next video if not the one prior to this one all I can do is I drag in the folder directly
into Adobe Premiere approach.
So I've got Adobe preview probably I'm going to delete all that.
Yes.
Right.
So what.
So I got this here my import window here.
Bottom left hand side.
All I do is I drag in and drop that folder those two folders in an Adobe Premiere Pro to automatically
import those folders straight into the software.
It's so easy.
Sometimes it takes like 20 minutes because I have a slow laptop and that's it.
And then you can start editing.
So that was helpful.
That's how I organize my folders.
If you have any questions let me know.
